READY FOR THAT CLOSE-UP...

    When struggling screenwriter Joe Gillis flees his Hollywood apartment to escape creditors, in his soon-to-be-repossessed car, fate (and a flat tire) deliver him to the 10086 Sunset Boulevard residence of forgotten silent screen star Norma Desmond.
    Joe's arrival disturbs the funeral service of Norma's pet chimpanzee. This should have been a red flag for Joe, but he ignored it.
    Eventually, but too late, Gillis discovers he would have been better off calling AAA.
